Well we are in our new home & pretty settled at that! We LOVE it & are so thankful! One of my favorite things has been my kitchen (because I didn’t have a real kitchen in our previous place), so I thought I would share a favorite recipe of ours!

I got this recipe off of one of the blogs I follow. It has been a while since I last made them & we are really enjoying them! These protein bars are extremely easy to make.

To start off make sure you use a microwavable bowl to do the mixing! (I forget this and dirtied 2 bowls. ha!)


Ingredients:

2 C. Peanut butter

1 1/4 C. Honey

2 C. of vanilla protein powder

1 C. of oats

1/4 C. Chia seeds

Put  the 2 C. PB & the 1 1/4 C. honey in the bowl & microwave for 90 seconds. IMG_0248Stir, & add the 2 C. of protein powder along with the 1 C. oats & 1/4 C. chia seeds.Once it is completely mixed, place into a 9×13 pan. Press flat with a spatula & refrigerate. IMG_0247After it is firm, cut up into bars & store in the refrigerator. I like to individually wrap mine so that they are easy to grab in the mornings for work!
